| Welcome to ARAK Just what exactly is ARAK? If you've been ARAK'd then you already know. For those of you that haven't yet been ARAK'd, Let me explain. A Random Act of Kindness. It could be most anything that you secretly do to make someone else smile, or make their life a little easier. In our case it is usually sending out cards, postcards, bookmarks to special people, some that we know, many that we do not know. Our knowing them doesn't matter, only that God knows them and that means there are a whole lot of people out there waiting to be ARAK'd! So were gonna need some help! If your email is anything like mine, then you are bombarded with jokes, pictures and the like everyday. So much so that we sometimes pay little if any attention to them anymore. While people used to send cards and surprises through the actual physical mail, we rarely get those nice suprises anymore, with email being so handy and quick. When you grab that stack of mail out of your box everyday, it is normally a stack of bills, ads, and just plain junk. Wouldn't it be nice to occasionally get just a kind reminder that God is still loves us and is there for us! Just a simple little card that brings a smile to your face, and uplifts the heart could very well be just that little something that makes someone's day. We Want You To Get Involved!
And we are going to make it Easy Quick and Free! If you haven't seen the ARAK packet, let me tell you what is in it. Each packet we send out includes first, a card with verse on the front and a message inside. Tucked inside the card we include one of our postcards that the recipient of the packet can use to encourage someone else. |
